Formed in 2024, Two Things is a policy and social planning consultancy, with expertise in finding opportunities to make positive change to policy and urban redevelopment schemes. Two Things is led by Jo McClellan, an experienced executive social policy and strategic planning leader. A rich career spanning over two decades, marked by contributions to the public and private sectors Jo is renowned for her transformative power of collaboration and ability to foster an environment that enables diverse perspectives to converge to craft comprehensive solutions to deliver lasting change.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to catalyse positive social, health and wellbeing outcomes Jo embodies a passion for innovation and progress to design comprehensive solutions that uplift communities and inspire positive lasting change. Put simply, Jo likes combining knowledge to affect positive change. Helping policy makers and developers see the real-world goals in each project in order for better decisions to be made about the way we shape the world.

Jo has inspired and led cross-policy and multi-jurisdictional committees and project teams, navigating complex urban and social policy problems delivering large scale strategy with high-value social health and wellbeing outcomes across various domains.

Jo has extensive experience in the end-to-end design and delivery of social and urban policy providing insights and perspectives to policy makers and developers on social impact, urban renewal and state significant infrastructure and investment.
